| During a normal week, the IREAN system
will automatically do things which do not require user intervention; i.e. load memory configurations
for nets, clear voltages, clear temperatures, clear command logs, etc. The current schedule for the IREAN system is as follows:
The table above shows the repeater system clears out the stored hi and lo temperatures everyday at 12:00 am. This insures the repeater keeps the current hi and lo temperatures stored properly for user requests. On Sundays, the repeater starts a clean slate on stored system Voltages and User Command Log. The repeater tracks all voltages on a weekly basis. The User Command Log is a file system control operators can download, which stores every single command users input during a one week period. If something happended to the system during a week, control operators can download the file from the repeater and analyze the codes sent to see what exactly happened. On Monday nights starting at 7:55, the repeater announces the upcoming Mt. Harrison net which begins at 8:00 pm local time. At 7:58, the repeater loads the Mt. Harrison Configuration which turns on the 2 meter remote base, sets the proper frequency and changes the courtesy tone to indicate a net is in progress. The net usually only lasts 30 minutes but the repeater will wait until 9:00 pm before it reloads the normal IREAN Configuration. On Tuesday night starting at 7:55, the repeater announces the upcoming VHF Society Swap Net which begins at 8:00 pm local time. At 7:58, the repeater loads the VHF Society Swap Net Configuration which turns on the 2 meter remote base, sets the proper frequency and changes the courtesy tone to indicate a net is in progress. The net usually last 30-45 minutes and the repeater will reload the normal IREAN Configuration at 8:45 pm every Tuesday. The above schedule is handled automatically by the repeater. No user intervention is required to have the repeater execute it's schedule.   |
